What to Expect When Booking a Jail Notary Visit

Demystifying the Process

If you need a notary to visit a jail, you probably have a lot of questions. How do we get in? Do you need to be there? How long does it take? Here is a step-by-step guide to how our Jail Notary Service works.

Step 1: Information Gathering

Before we can schedule anything, we need 3 pieces of information:

1. Have the inmate's full name, date of birth, and booking number (if known).
2. Know exactly which facility they are in (e.g., Men's Central vs. Twin Towers).
3. Have the document ready. We can print it for you, but we need the file.

We handle the coordination with the Watch Commander or Visitation Sergeant to get in as soon as possible.
